Bringing Out the Best

How do we bring out the best of every child in our children’s ministry? How can we reach a child who does not participate in class, or a child that just cannot sit still and listen? This class does an excellent job of informing your teaching practices, as you train your teachers. Tried and true techniques that can turn your children’s ministry around.

Safety in Your Children’s Ministry

This class will help you answer the question, Is our children’s ministry safe? Bob & Susan will share practical ways to enhance the safety in your children’s ministry. This class will cover screening, security, check in and out procedures and more.

Starting A Special Needs Ministry

As our church grows we need to ensure that our children’s ministry is available to everyone. Having a Special Needs Ministry is not as overwhelming as it seems. This class will provide practical implementations as well as a vision of what a special needs ministry could look like in your church. You can start small and have a BIG impact!

Technology in Children’s Ministry

Chase and Melissa will give you practical ideas on how you can use technology to enhance the experience of the children, parents, and volunteers in your children’s ministry. Whether you lead a large or small children’s ministry- this class will help you connect in engaging 21st century ways with all generations. Take your classes to the next level!

Policies and Procedures

Why do we need policies and procedures? What should they be? Do I really need to use a third party to screen volunteers? How long should we keep children’s ministry sign in sheets? These and many more questions will be addressed.

Q&A – Classroom Challenges

 Saturday, 2:30-3:15pm – Matthew Bridges & Sue Cusato

Do you have a question about how to help a particular child in your children’s ministry be successful in class? Matthew is a behavioural specialist, and Sue is a special education teacher, and they have a combined experience of over 50 years helping children, parents and teachers create a fun yet safe classroom environment so each child can reach their fullest potential.

Vacation Bible School

What is it VBS How do we do it? What if we have a small church? You too can experience the magic of Vacation Bible School. Mark and Cindy Wilkinson will share from years of experience hosting vacation Bible Schools in 1 st and 3 rd world countries.

All Kingdom Kids Presenters Come on back as we close out our time together with an electric q&a session. Speakers from the Kingdom Kids Leadership Track will take any questions, and this Q&A will be followed by a time of fellowship.
